How to Use

FAQ
Will AVIF and WebP always work?
Only if your browser can encode them. WebP works in current Chromium-based browsers and Firefox, while Safari may not produce it. AVIF encoding is unavailable in many browsers. If the browser returns a different format than the one requested, the tool reports an error rather than silently giving you the wrong type.
What happens to transparency when I convert to JPEG?
JPEG has no transparency, so any transparent pixels cannot be kept in a JPEG. Choose PNG or WebP if you need to preserve transparent areas.
Can it convert HEIC photos?
It accepts any file your browser can open as an image. If a HEIC/HEIF file is not natively supported, use the dedicated HEIC to JPG tool, which loads a decoder for that format.
Is converting to JPEG or WebP reversible?
No. Lossy formats discard detail, and converting back to PNG will not restore it. Keep your originals.
