FAQ
Does this design a thumbnail for me?
No. It only resizes and crops an image you already made. Add text or overlays first, for example with Add Text to Image.
My image is square. What will I get?
A 1280x720 crop of the square's middle band: the top and bottom are cut off and the full width is kept.
Why is there no letterboxing?
The fit mode is cover, which always fills the frame. Nothing is added around the image.
What is the aspect ratio of the output?
16:9, because 1280x720 is exactly that ratio.
Do I need to keep text away from the edges?
Yes, for images that are not already 16:9. Anything near the cropped sides of the original can be cut off.
