Stamps a running page number on every page of a PDF. You choose one of six positions (top or bottom, left, centre or right), a font size from 8 to 24 pt, and optional text before and after the number, such as "Page " or " / 10".

How to Use
- 1Drop one PDF onto the upload area, or click to choose it.
- 2Under Position, click one of the six buttons: Top Left, Top Center, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Center or Bottom Right.
- 3Move the Font Size slider (8 to 24 pt).
- 4Optionally type a Prefix (for example "Page ") and a Suffix (for example " / 10").
- 5Click Add Page Numbers, then download numbered.pdf.

FAQ
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Not in this tool's interface. The page number always begins at 1 on the first page of the file. If you need a different starting number, the engine supports it, but there is no control for it on this page.
Can it insert the total page count automatically, like "3 of 12"?
No. The suffix is plain text, so you would have to type the total yourself (for example " / 12"), and it would be the same on every page. There is no automatic total or token substitution.
Can I number only some pages or skip the cover page?
No. Every page in the PDF gets a number. The number is placed 30 points from the page edge, in black, and cannot be moved to a custom position or recoloured.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The numbers are drawn on the pages in your browser and the finished PDF is created locally, so the file is not sent to a server for this job.
