How to Use

1Add up to 100 images by dropping them on the upload area or choosing them from your device.
2Type your 'Watermark Text' (the default is WATERMARK).
3Set the Font Size (8 to 300), pick a Color, and drag the Opacity slider (5% to 100%, default 30%).
4Choose a Position with the arrow buttons: top-left, top-right, centre, bottom-left or bottom-right.

The same mark on every image

You set one line of text, a size, a colour, an opacity and one of five positions, and every image in the batch receives it identically.

The four corner positions sit a small margin in from the edge; the fifth is centred. A corner mark is the usual choice for attribution, because it identifies the image without covering it. A centred mark is harder to crop away but spoils the picture for you as well as for anyone else. Because the mark is placed at a fixed position rather than scaled to each picture, check the result on both your largest and your smallest image before trusting a long batch.

Choosing an opacity that works

Roughly 70 to 90 percent reads clearly without dominating. Below about 40 it becomes hard to see on a busy photograph.

There is no outline or shadow behind the text, so contrast comes from the colour alone. White text disappears over a bright sky and dark text over a shadow, which is why the corner you choose matters as much as the colour: pick the one where your photographs tend to be plainest. If a batch varies a lot, a slightly larger mark at a moderate opacity survives more backgrounds than a small dark one.

What a watermark achieves

It identifies your work and discourages casual reuse. It does not prevent copying.

A corner mark can be cropped off and any mark can be painted out by someone determined, because the image underneath is unchanged. Treat it as attribution rather than protection: it makes a reposted image traceable back to you, which is the realistic goal. For a stronger claim, keep the untouched originals — being able to produce the unmarked file is better evidence than the mark itself.

Latin characters only, and keep the originals

The text is drawn with a browser font that covers basic Latin reliably, and the mark cannot be removed once saved.

Urdu, Arabic and other non-Latin scripts may not render correctly, so check one image before running a batch if you are using them. The watermark is baked into the pixels, so there is no layer to switch off later: always work from copies and keep the unmarked originals somewhere safe. Files are returned as a ZIP with their original names, so unpack into a new folder.

FAQ

Can I use a logo or image as the watermark?

Not in this tool, which only draws text. For a logo, use the Add Logo to Image tool, which works on one image at a time.

Why is my watermark cut off or tiny on some images?

The font size is in pixels and is the same for every image, so it looks large on a small image and small on a big photo. The text is also not wrapped or scaled to fit, so long text on a small image can run past the edge. Try a smaller size for small images or process them in separate batches.

Can someone remove the watermark?

The watermark is drawn into the pixels, so it cannot be toggled off, but a low-opacity mark in one corner can be cropped or retouched out. A centred, larger mark is harder to remove but more intrusive.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is drawn on a canvas in your browser and the files stay on your device.
