FAQ
Does it show EXIF, camera data, DPI or colour profile?
No. It shows only width, height, format, size, alpha and aspect ratio. It does not read EXIF tags, GPS, DPI or ICC colour profiles. Note that the panel also lists some general topics such as EXIF and colour space, but the results it displays are the six values above.
How reliable is the Alpha value?
It is a rough guess based only on the file type: it says Yes for PNG files and No for everything else. A PNG with no transparent pixels will still show Yes, and a WebP or GIF that does have transparency will show No.
Is the 'Format' the real image format?
It is the file type your browser reports for the file, such as image/jpeg. If a file has the wrong extension, the value can be empty or show image/unknown.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The dimensions are read in your browser and the file stays on your device.
