How to Use
- 1Add one image by dragging it into the drop area or choosing it from your device.
- 2Pick a Quick Rotate button (90, 180, 270 or the negative equivalents) or drag the Custom Angle slider between -180 and 180 degrees.
- 3Optionally switch on Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical. The Live preview shows the result before you process anything.
- 4Click Rotate Image, then download the rotated file.

FAQ
What format is the rotated image saved in?
The same format as the file you added, worked out from its file extension (PNG, JPEG, WebP and so on). There is no format or quality control on this page, so JPEG and WebP outputs use a fixed quality of about 92 percent. If you need a different format afterwards, run the result through the Image Converter.
What happens to the corners when I rotate by a non-right angle?
The canvas grows to the bounding box of the rotated image, so the picture is never cropped. The four empty corners are transparent in PNG and WebP output, and appear white in JPEG because JPEG has no transparency and the tool flattens onto white. If you want to keep the original dimensions, rotate in 90-degree steps instead.
Does rotating a JPEG lose quality?
Yes, a little. The image is drawn onto a canvas and encoded again, so a JPEG goes through one more round of lossy compression. It is not a lossless JPEG transform. PNG output is not affected.
Can I rotate several photos at once?
No. This tool takes one image per run. Rotate each photo separately, or use the PDF rotate tool if what you actually have is a multi-page document.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The rotation is done with the canvas in your browser tab and the result is created locally for download.
