The tool creates a new empty PDF, then copies every page from each of your files into it in the order of the list, and saves the result as merged.pdf.
You choose only one thing: the order of the files. There are no options for page ranges, compression or bookmarks. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and vector graphics stay sharp; nothing is rasterised.
You can add up to 200 PDFs, each up to 200 MB, and only PDF files are accepted.
Because everything happens in your browser tab, very large or very many files depend on your device's memory. If a merge of hundreds of megabytes stalls, split the job into two smaller merges and merge those results. The output is a single file. Bookmarks, outlines and interactive form behaviour from the source files are not reliably preserved, since pages are copied into a new document.
Merge PDF fits when you already have finished PDFs and just need them back to back.

The merged file is not compressed, so its size is roughly the sum of the inputs.
Expect the output to be about as large as all inputs added together; Compress PDF only clears metadata and does not shrink images. There is no page-level preview of the combined result before download, so open merged.pdf once to confirm the order.

Do not count on it. The tool copies page content into a fresh document, so document-level features such as bookmarks and outlines are not carried over. Check the result if you rely on them.
The tool opens files while ignoring the encryption flag, so some restricted PDFs may merge, but this site has no tool to add or remove passwords. If a file fails to load, it cannot be merged here.
