FAQ

Will the slides look like my PDF pages?

No. Each slide is a white slide with one text box of plain 14 pt text. Photos, drawings, tables, columns, fonts and colours are not reproduced. Think of it as a way to get the words into slide form, not as a visual conversion.

Why are my slides empty for a scanned PDF?

The tool reads the text layer of the PDF. A scanned document is only pictures of pages and has no text layer, so those slides come out blank. There is no OCR step in this converter; run the file through the OCR PDF tool first if you need the text.

What happens when a page has a lot of text?

The text box has a fixed size and font size, with no auto-shrink or splitting across slides. A dense page can run off the bottom of its slide, and you would need to adjust it in your presentation software.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and the .pptx is built in your browser, with no upload for the conversion.
