The tool converts your document to HTML, draws it in your browser at A4 width, and slices the picture into A4 pages inside a PDF.
There are no options: you upload a file and click Convert to PDF. Headings, paragraphs, lists, bold and italic and similar basic formatting are converted. Because the pages are rendered as images, the PDF looks like a picture of the document, not a text-based export from Word.
One document per run, up to 200 MB, and .docx is the reliable format.
The upload accepts .doc and .docx, but only the modern .docx format can be read by the converter. Save older files as .docx in Word first. Output size is larger than a native export, since each page is stored as a JPEG image.
Use it for a quick shareable copy of a simple document; use Word's own export when you need searchable text.

Page breaks are decided by slicing, so lines can be cut at the page edge. Headers, footers, page numbers, columns, text boxes and precise positioning are not reproduced. Documents with heavy design are best exported from Word directly. The tool never modifies your original file. If the PDF looks wrong, try simplifying the document in Word first, for example by removing text boxes or turning multi-column sections into single-column text, then convert again.
